EDUVENTEC  was founded by Diane Longhurst Johnson, PhD to provide educational opportunity to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

A passionate advocate for education without boundaries, Dr. Johnson continues to dedicate her time and effort to this cause. 

Dr. Johnson holds a PhD in Education from Utah State University, a Graduate Certificate in Higher Ed. Assessment from James Madison University, an MS in Special Education from Brigham Young University, and a BS in Special Education from Utah State University. 

A professional educator and executive, Diane has more than 25 of expertise to share.  After 10 years of teaching in public schools, she became a Program Specialist training other teachers.  In 2004 she made the jump to higher ed. She was the founding Sr. Manager of Performance Evaluation at Western Governors University.  She has been President and Chief Academic Officer of an international university.  She lead the efforts to create the first-ever online degree to be accredited in Southeast Asia.  

She is recognized internationally as an expert in online, hybrid, and accelerated learning.  Education to employment has always been a priority as Dr. Johnson is committed to helping people become self-reliant. 

Having once struggled to make ends meet as a single working mother, Diane knows the empowering difference educational opportunity can make.  Now,after 20 years as the matriarch of a large blended family, she continues to see the how education blesses individuals and families.  When families are strong, communities are strong.

Dr. Johnson welcomes collaboration and creative thinking to continue to find ways to better educate people of all ages and walks of life.
